The standard version of the Umidigi Power series for 2022 is called Umidigi Power 7, and it was constructed with excellent battery endurance.
It debuts alongside the more expensive Umidigi Power 7 Max and the less expensive Umidigi Power 7S. The phone comes with a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB Type-C port, and Bluetooth 5.0. You get an FM antenna built in, so you don’t need to connect an earphone into the headphone jack to listen to FM radio.
The smartphone has 4G LTE connectivity, as well as dual 4G VoLTE and dual Wi-Fi. It also accepts NFC.
The Power 7 has a smaller battery (6150 mAh versus 10000 mAh), less memory (4GB versus 6GB), and a lower primary camera when compared to the Power 7 Max (20MP against 48MP). But you receive the same screen, CPU, and internal storage.
It is the straight replacement for the Umidigi Power 5. Similar to the Umidigi Power F3, the Umidigi Power 7 has a 6.7-inch display, a 20MP triple back camera, and a 6150 mAh battery.
Display and Design
The Umidigi Power 7 provides a similar design to the Umidigi F3s and F3. It has a frame with a 3D texture that resists fingerprints. The smartphone is available in Reef Gray, Atlantic Blue, and Sunbeam Gold.
The 20MP triple rear camera and the dual LED flash are housed in a bump on the upper left of the back, and the 8MP front camera is located in a dewdrop notch.
The 6.7-inch Umidigi Power 7 monitor has a resolution of 720 x 1650 pixels. The display is sufficient for web browsing and viewing movies.
Resolution and Camera
The Umidigi Power 7 has an 8 megapixel front camera and a 20 megapixel AI triple camera for photos.
A 20 megapixel sensor, an 8 megapixel ultrawide angle lens with a 120° field of view, and a 5 megapixel macro lens make up the back camera.
This should produce respectable photography to record your most precious times. Full HD movies can be captured by either camera.
Software, Memory and Battery
An Octa-core Unisoc T610 (12nm) processor powers Umidigi Power 7. Every member of the Power 7 line uses the same chipset. This processor was also found in other Umidigi phones, including the F3s and SE as well as the A13, A13s, and A13 Pro. With a dual-core Cortex-A75 clocked at 1.8GHz and a hexa-core Cortex-A55 clocked at 1.8GHz, the chipset provides a dual-cluster architecture.
The internal capacity on this Umidigi phone is 128GB eMMC 5.1 and 4GB LPDDR4X RAM. It has a hybrid reader that can accommodate memory cards up to 256GB in size.
The built-in 6150 mAh battery should give a decent battery life to carry you for a whole day without needing to recharge. It comes with a 10W charging capability.
Price In Nigeria
The Umidigi Power 7 begins at around $139.99 on major online retailers such as AliExpress. The Power 7 will cost approximately 85,000 Naira in Nigeria, 2,899 GHS in Ghana, and 45,000 KES in Kenya. The smartphone will be offered for purchase in a Global Premiere on AliExpress beginning May 19, 2022. It was released in May of 2022.
