Mobile Phone Price Review In Nigeria

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 Specifications and Price In Nigeria

The Galaxy Z Fold 4 is being marketed by Samsung as a productivity tool. The device is better positioned to fill the void left by the now-defunct Galaxy Note Series, which concluded with the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra, thanks to its huge tablet-size screen and support for the S-Pen.

Flex Mode boosts productivity greatly. This is when the phone is utilized folded in half like a laptop, with the bottom half resting on the flat surface and acting as the screen and a touchpad, respectively, to navigate the content.

It is designed with a new Taskbar that makes switching between many windows simple in order to promote multitasking.

When handling emails, the multi-screen capability on the main screen can be useful. Since both may be tastefully displayed on one screen, you don’t need to switch between the messages list and the actual message.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is the company’s top-tier foldable smartphone for 2022. With a better camera and brighter screen, the android smartphone has a thinner and lighter design.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 was introduced alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and has a stunning 7.6-inch display, a 6.2-inch cover display, and a total of five cameras.

Display and Resolution

With a big screen and 120Hz refresh rate, it will be a superb gaming phone in addition to being a terrific display for viewing movies and browsing the web.

On the primary display, S-Pen functionality is included, allowing you to take notes and draw on this gadget. If you already own the S Pen Pro or S Pen Fold Edition, you can use your current pen since the S-Pen is not included with the device.

Even though it is now bigger and shorter overall, the smartphone’s cover display still measures 6.2 inches when it is folded. The resolution of this Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel is 904 x 2316 pixels.

Similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 3, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 boasts a pocket book style. However, it is now about 3 mm shorter, about 2 mm wider, and slightly thinner, making it simpler to grip.

The Samsung phone still has the same display sizes as its predecessor despite the changes in dimensions, albeit the aspect ratio has changed as a result.

The primary display is still an 18.12 x 2176-pixel 7.6-inch Foldable Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. With a smaller bezel and a camera hidden beneath the display, the screen is now brighter and offers a more immersive experience.

The flexible screen is now more durable thanks to the frames and hinge constructed of armor aluminum, while the back is protected by Corning Gorilla Victus Plus. This greatly increases the smartphone’s durability.

Connection

Dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, and NFC are included in the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 5G. A USB Type-C port is also included for charging and data transfer.

The maximum internet speed on Fold 3 is 5G. As long as they are in a 5G reception area, aficionados will have the privilege of 5G internet speed.

Camera

With a digital zoom of up to 30x, this camera provides better picture quality. Since the cover is placed next to the excellent triple back camera, you can capture excellent selfies using the primary camera. Your photos can be saved on the device in Expert RAW.

When it comes to the in-screen cameras, the cover display has a 10MP wide-angle punch-hole camera with an aperture of f/2.2, which is comparable to the Fold3.

The foldable display’s camera currently just has a 4 megapixel wide-angle lens. The camera is placed under the display, same like in the 2021 Fold, although this time it is less obvious.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 has a total of five cameras. Three cameras are on the back, one is in the primary foldable display underneath the display, and the fifth camera is on the cover display.

Although the camera distribution is similar to that of the Fold3, the camera specifications have changed significantly and have been improved with better quality.

The rear camera contains a 50-megapixel wide-angle main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and capability for optical image stabilization and dual-pixel phase detection autofocus (PDAF) (OIS).

The primary camera is coupled with a 12MP ultrawide camera with an aperture of f/2.2 and a field of view of 123, as well as a 10 MP telephoto lens with an f/2.4 aperture, PDAF, OIS, and 3x optical zoom.

Both the cover camera and the main camera support 4K video recording. On the primary offering, slow motion recording is also supported. HD video recording at 960 frames per second.

However, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and its more affordable siblings, the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Plus, still boast the best cameras on a Samsung phone. Overall, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is offering a much better camera more appropriate for a smartphone within its price point.

Software and Version

An improved chipset is included with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4. The quad-core Cortex-A510, the single-core Cortex-X2, and the tri-core Cortex-A710 of the Qualcomm SM8475 Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 (4 nm) octa-core chipset each have a clock speed of 3.19 GHz, 2.75 GHz, and 1.8 GHz.

This chipset is identical to the one found in the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and represents a modest improvement over the one found in the Galaxy S22 series.

Memory

The smartphone comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of internal storage as options. There is no memory card port on the gadget, just like in earlier iPhone models like the iPhone X and iPhone XR and the more recent iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Battery

It’s a little unfortunate that the camera’s battery is still only 4400 mAh. Although the charger is not included in the box, you receive 25W rapid charging. Additionally supported are 4.5W reversed wireless charging and 15W wireless charging.

The first handset to ship with Android 12L out of the box is the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4. Android 12L is a tablet-specific version of Android 12.

Price

Price for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 5G starts at roughly $1,569 at reputable internet retailers. In Nigeria, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 5G costs around 1,090,000 Naira, 196,811 KES, and 10,821 GHC.

In August 2022, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 5G was launched and made available for purchase.
