Umidigi Power 5S Price In Nigeria, Futures and Specifications
The Umidigi Power 5S is essentially a less expensive version of the Power 5. To save money, the affordable Android phone has some hardware compromises when compared to the standard version.
Aside from the battery, sensors, and display, the Power 5S appears to be a step back. In reality, it resembles the Umidigi A11s with a larger battery.
The android phone offers 4G LTE with dual 4G VoLTE offering you 4G and VoLTE (voice over LTE) on both SIM slots.
You also get a 3.5mm headphone input, a USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.0, and dual-band WiFi. It has the same processor as the A11s and, like the A11s, misses features such as a fingerprint reader and an infrared thermometer.
This Umidigi Power phone is the straight predecessor to the Umidigi Power 7S from the 2022 series.
The Umidigi Power 5S, on the other hand, retains the Power 5’s most notable feature: the enormous 6150 mAh battery.
Display and Design
The Umidigi Power 5s has a 3D unibody construction with a fingerprint-resistant surface. The Power 5 logo and the text “Beyond Dreams” can be found on the reverse. The smartphone is available in Carbon Grey, Sapphire Blue, and Jade Green.
On the back, we have a dark rectangular camera module with three vertically aligned cameras to the left. The front camera is hidden behind a dewdrop cutaway.
The 6.53-inch in-cell monitor on the Umidigi Power 5s has a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The monitor has a dark mode and a 20:9 aspect ratio. This is excellent for watching movies or browsing the web.
Camera and Resolution
The Umidigi Power 5s has the same camera configuration as the A11 and Power 5. A triple camera system with a 16 megapixel ultrawide main camera with an aperture of f/2.0, a 5 megapixel macro camera, and an 8 megapixel ultrawide camera with a 120° field of view is included on the back.
The back camera includes a dual-LED flash. For photos and Face Unlock, you get an AI-enhanced 8-megapixel camera.
Price In Nigeria
The Umidigi Power 5s costs around $109.99 at major internet retailers such as AliExpress. In Nigeria, the Power 5s costs around 52,900 Naira, 650 GHC in Ghana, and 13,500 KSH in Kenya.
The smartphone is now available for buy on major retail sites such as AliExpress and Jumia. It was released in October of 2021.
Software, Memory and Battery
While the Power 5 boasts of an Octa-core MediaTek Helio G25 processor, the Umidigi Power 5S uses the same Unisoc T310 (12nm) Quad-core chipset in the A11s. The chipset is based on a dual-cluster architecture with a 2.0GHz Cortex-A75 processor and a 1.8GHz tri-core Cortex-A55 processor.
This Umidigi phone has 4GB of Memory and 32GB or 64GB of internal storage. The built-in storage can be upgraded via a dedicated microSD slot, which supports up to 256GB of extra storage via a memory card.
The Umidigi Power series is renowned for its long battery life, and the 5S continues the tradition, with Umidigi claiming up to 55 hours of talktime. This is more than 2 days continuous talktime on the phone. The massive 6150 mAh battery makes this feasible.
The battery is the same as that found in the Umidigi Power 7 and Power 7S from the 2022 series, but it falls shy of the massive 10000 mAh battery found in the Umidigi Power 7 Max. The Umidigi Power 5S ships with stock Android 11.
