Mobile Phone Price Review In Nigeria

Umidigi F3 Futures, Specifications and Price In Nigeria

The Umidigi F3 is a 2022 upgrade to the FSeries, a smartphone family that was last updated in 2019 with the Umidigi F2.

The F3 has a 3.5mm headphone input, a USB Type-C port, and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. You also get an FM radio with a built-in FM antenna, as with all previous 2022 Umidigi versions, so you don’t need to plug in an earphone to the headphone jack to listen to FM radio.

The smartphone has 4G LTE connectivity, as well as dual 4G VoLTE and dual Wi-Fi. It also has NFC compatibility. Although it does not enable 5G, we would not be surprised if a 5G variant is released in the future.

Despite the differences in appearance, the two devices share many internal components, including the same processor and battery size. The Umidigi F3 has a 6.7-inch monitor and a triple AI-enhanced 48MP rear camera.

In comparison to the Umidigi F2, the Umidigi F3 appears to prioritize cost. This is due to the fact that, despite arriving three years later, the F3 maintains the same Helio P70 processor as its predecessor. The display, despite being larger, now has a lower resolution, and the front and back cameras have been reduced from 32MP and four rear cameras to 16MP and three rear cameras, respectively. It even only has Bluetooth 4.2.

Who knows, maybe there will be an Umidigi F3 5G in the future. However, the Umidigi F3 remains a solid, low-cost mid-range smartphone capable of viewing movies and browsing the web.

If you’re searching for upgrades, the 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and Android 11 are available. The F2 came with 6GB of Memory and Android 10. So, if you’re searching for a replacement for your F2, the F3 may not be it. You should definitely look into the Umidigi Bison GT2, Bison GT2 Pro, and Bison GT3 models.

Design and Display

The Umidigi F3 has a curved Matte surface. It is offered in the following colors: Hawaii Blue, Matte Silver, Starry Black, Sunglow Gold, and Galaxy Blue. The body is curved around the sides and edges, and the back has a bump that houses the three rear cameras and the dual LED flash.

A dewdrop notch in the front homes the front camera. The fingerprint sensor is situated on the right side of the phone, near the power button.

The monitor on the Umidigi F3 is 6.7 inches. This is larger than the 6.53-inch screen found on the F2, but the quality has been reduced from 1080 x 2340 pixels to 720 x 1650 pixels. On paper, the display should be adequate for viewing movies and browsing the web, but it does not appear to equal the quality of the F2.

On the left are the customizable keys that we saw in the Umidigi A13, A13s, and A13 Pro. This button can be programmed to give you immediate access to an app or a phone with a single click, double click, or long press.

Camera and Resolution

The Umidigi F3 has three cameras on the rear, as opposed to four on its predecessor. It is unclear whether this has an impact on picture quality.

The primary camera on the back remains a 48 megapixel sensor. The Sony 48 megapixel camera has a wide angle 6-element lens with an aperture of f/1.8 and a field of view of 78°.

The front-facing camera appears to be a step back. The F2 had a 32-megapixel camera, but the Umidigi F3 has a 16-megapixel camera with an angle of f/2.2. Both cameras are capable of recording full HD footage.

An 8 megapixel ultrawide angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and 120° FoV and a 5 megapixel macro lens with f/2.4 aperture and 80° FoV supplement the primary sensor.

The rear camera has panorama, facial recognition, and HDR, as well as a dual LED flash.

Software, Memory and Battery

The Umidigi F3 is powered by an Octa-core Mediatek Helio P70 (12nm) chipset comparable to the Blackview A100. The chipset features a dual-cluster design with a 2.1GHz quad-core Cortex-A73 and a 2.0GHz quad-core Cortex-A53. This differs from the Unisoc T610 found in the Umidigi F3s and Umidigi F3 SE.

The Mali-G72 MP3 running at 900 MHz handles graphics on the smartphone. The Umidigi phone has 8GB of LPDDR4X Memory and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage.

If you need more storage, you’ll have to give up one SIM card slot because it has a hybrid slot that allows up to 512GB microSD cards.

The 5150 mAh battery on the Android phone allows for up to 39 hours of talk time and up to 20 hours of video playing. It also has a fast charging capability of 18W.

Price in Nigeria

The Umidigi F3 costs around $149.99 at major internet retailers such as Amazon. In Nigeria, the Umidigi F3 costs around 82,900 Naira, 3,290 GHS in Ghana, and 50,500 KES in Kenya. The smartphone is now available for buy on major retail sites such as AliExpress and Jumia. It was released in May of 2022.
