Infinix Hot 12 Play Price in Nigeria, Specifications and Futures
The Hot 11 Play’s replacement is the Infinix Hot 12 Play. The Infinix Hot 12 and this smartphone were the first Infinix devices to ship with Android 12 out of the box.
The transition from microUSB to USB Type C is one of the upgrades that Infinix Hot 12 Play offers over its predecessor. The Android phone has Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, and a USB Type-C port with OTG compatibility. It works with 4G LTE. On this phone, 5G connectivity is not possible.
For a smoother experience, you also get the extended RAM function, which lets you add an additional 3GB of memory to the 4GB RAM that comes standard.
Design and Display
The all-plastic Infinix Hot 12 Play comes in Racing Black, Champaign Gold, Horizon Blue, or Daylight Green. Even with the fingerprint reader, the back of the device still has two cameras. An infinity-O hole is where the front camera is mounted.
This Infinix Hot phone appears to have the exact same touchscreen as the basic model. The 6.82-inch IPS monitor has a 720 x 1612 pixel resolution. The display’s standard version also includes a 180 Hz touch sampling rate and a 90 Hz refresh rate.
This is fantastic because you get the same show for a lower cost. While playing video games or watching movies, a fast refresh rate results in a better viewing or gaming experience.
Resolution and Camera
Although it appears that the Infinix Hot 12 Play offers the same display as the standard version, the camera is lacking. The Play edition has two rear cameras compared to the standard model’s three.
On the rear, you get a 13 megapixel dual AI camera with a quad-LED flash. The camera supports 120 frames per second slow motion filming in addition to full HD video capture. The SloMo frame rate for the standard version is 240 fps for comparison. For selfies, there is an 8 megapixel front-facing camera available.
Software Futures, Memory Storage and Battery Performance
Given the price difference between the two devices, it is likely a less powerful processor. For now, what we know is that it is an octa-core processor clocked at up to 2.3GHz. The phone offers 4GB RAM with a choice of 64GB or 128GB built-in storage. You also get an extended RAM option. Infinix Hot 12 Play runs Android 12 on an octa-core processor.
